Terms of Service
Effective Date: May 19, 2026 · Last Updated: May 19, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you ("you," "your," or "User") and Felon Entrepreneur LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Felon Entrepreneur," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern your access to and use of the Felon Entrepreneur mobile application and the website at felonentrepreneur.com (collectively, the "Service").
Please read these Terms carefully. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account you represent that you are at least 18, have the legal capacity to enter a contract, and are not barred from using the Service under U.S. law or the law of your jurisdiction.
The Service is intended for use by people in the United States. We do not currently target users outside the United States, and we make no representation that the Service is appropriate or available for use in other locations.
2. The Service
Felon Entrepreneur is a software platform that provides tools, content, and AI-assisted guidance to help justice-impacted individuals build careers, start businesses, and create more stable lives. Current features include but are not limited to:
- Life Plan — questionnaire-driven personalized plans across six life categories with AI-generated stages, tasks, and proof-based progress.
- Build My Business (BMB) — a multi-step business-building journey with an AI coach, business plan generator, and Logo Studio.
- Coach — an AI coach that holds ongoing conversations and remembers your history at tier-appropriate depth.
- FE Agent — a tool-using AI agent that can read your saved data and help with tasks like resume building, job applications, and document drafting.
- Jobs — job search with map-based location features.
- Resume Builder, Document Vault, Streaks, Badges, Pulse and other supporting features.
- Merchandise — branded apparel and other physical goods, fulfilled by a third-party provider.
The features of the Service may change over time. We may add features, remove features, change pricing, or modify how features work. We will give reasonable notice of material changes that affect your paid subscription.
3. Your Account
To use most features of the Service you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and current information when registering.
- Keep your password confidential and never share your login credentials.
- Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Notify us promptly at support@felonentrepreneur.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms (see Section 12).
You may delete your account at any time in the app at Profile → Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account, or by emailing privacy@felonentrepreneur.com. Deletion is governed by Section 5 of our Privacy Policy.
4. Subscriptions and Paid Features
4.1 Tiers
The Service is offered in tiered plans:
- Starter — free.
- Plus — paid monthly subscription with expanded usage limits and features.
- Pro — paid monthly subscription with the highest usage limits and the full feature set.
Feature limits, features included in each tier, and current prices are shown in the app on the subscription screen. We reserve the right to change tier features and pricing on reasonable notice. Price changes take effect on your next billing cycle, and continued use of a paid tier after the change takes effect means you accept the new price.
4.2 Billing Through Apple App Store and Google Play
When you purchase a subscription through the Service on iOS or Android, you are purchasing through Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Billing (Android). Apple or Google — not Felon Entrepreneur — processes your payment and manages your subscription. The terms of your subscription, including how to view, change, or cancel it, are governed by Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions or Google's Play Store terms in addition to these Terms.
- iOS: Manage your subscription at Settings → [your Apple ID] → Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad.
- Android: Manage your subscription at Google Play Store → Account → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions.
4.3 Auto-Renewal
Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple's standard auto-renewal disclosures apply on iOS, and Google Play's apply on Android. You can turn off auto-renewal at any time in your Apple or Google account settings.
4.4 Free Tier
The Starter tier is and is intended to remain available for free. We reserve the right to change Starter feature limits or, with reasonable notice, to introduce a charge for previously free features.
4.5 Refunds
Subscription refunds are handled by Apple and Google according to their respective policies and are not issued directly by Felon Entrepreneur. We do not refund partial billing periods.
4.6 Merchandise Orders
If you order physical merchandise from the Service, your payment is processed by our payment processor (Stripe), and your order is fulfilled and shipped by our fulfillment partner (Printful). Merchandise sales are final once shipped unless the item arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from what was ordered, in which case contact us at support@felonentrepreneur.com within 30 days of delivery.
5. AI-Generated Content — Important Disclaimer
Many features of the Service use artificial intelligence to generate content for you — including Life Plans, business plans, coach responses, FE Agent responses, proof reviews, logos, weekly stories, resume content, and more.
AI-generated content is provided for informational and motivational purposes only. It is not:
- Legal advice. The Service is not a law firm and we are not your attorneys. For legal questions, consult a licensed attorney.
- Medical advice. For medical or mental-health questions, consult a licensed healthcare provider.
- Financial, accounting, or tax advice. For financial questions, consult a licensed financial professional or certified accountant.
- Career credentialing, job placement, or guaranteed employment. Use of the Service does not guarantee any job, business outcome, or income.
- A substitute for professional support, government services, or peer support programs.
AI models can be wrong, can make things up ("hallucinate"), and can produce content that looks confident but is inaccurate. You are responsible for evaluating AI-generated content before acting on it. Do not rely on AI-generated content for high-stakes legal, medical, financial, or safety decisions.
6. Your Content
6.1 What You Own
You retain ownership of any content you create or upload through the Service — including your journal entries, business plans, resumes, vault documents, proof submissions, coach messages, and any logos or images you generate ("Your Content").
6.2 License You Grant Us
To operate the Service, we need permission to handle Your Content. You grant Felon Entrepreneur a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, copy, transmit, display, modify (for technical reasons such as resizing), and process Your Content solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining, and improving the Service for you. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where retention is required by law or for technical backups that are deleted on a routine cycle.
6.3 What We Do Not Do With Your Content
- Sell Your Content to third parties.
- Use Your Content to train any AI model — ours or anyone else's.
- Publish Your Content publicly without your explicit permission.
6.4 Your Responsibility for Your Content
You represent and warrant that:
- You have the right to upload and use the content you provide.
- Your Content does not violate any law, infringe any intellectual property right, or violate anyone's privacy.
- Your Content is not harassing, threatening, defamatory, fraudulent, obscene, or otherwise unlawful.
We may remove Your Content if it violates these Terms or applicable law.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to engage in any unlawful activity or to plan, advocate, or facilitate any unlawful activity.
- Harass, threaten, defame, impersonate, or intimidate any person.
- Use the Service to commit fraud or to deceive other users or third parties.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' accounts, or our systems or networks.
- Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract data from the Service.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service except as expressly permitted by applicable law.
- Sell, sublicense, or transfer access to your account, or share your login credentials.
- Use bots, scripts, or other automated means to interact with the Service.
- Submit AI-generated proof of work that you did not actually complete in order to falsely earn badges, streaks, or other recognition. Proof submissions must reflect work you actually did.
- Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our infrastructure.
- Encourage or assist any other person to do any of the foregoing.
Violation of this Section may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Our IP
The Service — including its software, design, brand, logo, text, graphics, audio, video, and underlying technology — is the property of Felon Entrepreneur LLC and our licensors and is protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
8.2 Feedback
If you send us feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use those ideas without restriction or compensation. You can still use and share your ideas yourself.
8.3 Trademarks
"Felon Entrepreneur," the Felon Entrepreneur logo, and other Felon Entrepreneur marks are trademarks of Felon Entrepreneur LLC. You may not use them without our prior written permission.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service uses third-party providers to operate (see our Privacy Policy for the full list). When you use the Service you are also subject to those providers' terms when they apply — for example, Apple's and Google's terms when you purchase a subscription through their stores, or Stripe's terms when you make a payment for merchandise. We are not responsible for third-party services.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Felon Entrepreneur disclaims all warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, and continuous availability.
Without limiting the above:
- We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
- We do not warrant that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or appropriate for your situation.
- We do not warrant any specific employment outcome, business outcome, income, certification, expungement, restoration of rights, or other life outcome.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. To the extent any warranty cannot be excluded under applicable law, it is limited in duration to the minimum period required by law.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Felon Entrepreneur LLC, its officers, members, employees, contractors, or affiliates be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to damages for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or substitute services, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid Felon Entrepreneur LLC for the Service during that 12-month period, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for certain damages. To the extent any liability cannot be excluded under applicable law, our liability is limited to the minimum amount required by law.
12. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if:
- You violate these Terms.
- You engage in fraudulent or harmful activity.
- We are required to do so by law.
- We discontinue the Service or any part of it.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, 14, and 15) will survive.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Felon Entrepreneur LLC, its members, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your use of the Service.
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
- Your Content.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The federal and state courts located in Pasco County, Florida have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
If any dispute is not resolved within sixty (60) days of written notice, either party may bring the dispute in a court of competent jurisdiction as set out above.
Nothing in this Section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property or confidential information.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes that affect your rights or obligations, we will give you at least 14 days' notice through the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after the change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, stop using the Service and delete your account.
16. Miscellaneous
- Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced here, are the entire agreement between you and Felon Entrepreneur LLC regarding the Service.
- Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest of the Terms remains in effect.
- No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision.
- Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms freely in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- No Agency. Nothing in these Terms creates any agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship between you and Felon Entrepreneur LLC.
- Force Majeure. We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control.
